First Announcement and Call for Papers
of
"Workshop on Environmental Technologies
in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, 2023"

The purpose of the workshop is to make active and substantial discussions among modest groups including students.

We desire your attendance and papers earnestly.
 

The topics can be assumed broadly without adhering to following and papers or talks on anything discussable will be welcome.

• Hydrodynamics of ships and offshore structure
• Renewable energy in the ocean
• Other frontier problems
   

Following distinguished researchers will be invited as special lecturers:

• Prof. Shiu-Wu Chau (National Taiwan Univ.)
• Prof. Jen-Hwa Guo (National Taiwan Univ.)
• Assoc. Prof. Zhi-Ming Yuan (Univ. of Strathclyde ;  Ig Nobel prize winner (Physics), 2022)
• Assoc. Prof. Ahmad Fitriadhy (Univ. of Malaysia Terengganu)
   

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts of proposed papers or talks in English about four pages of 'A4' paper including some figures.

The power point (ppt) for the presentation is also acceptable.

Registration fee is as follows:

• 2,000 JPY for member of JASNAOE
• 4,000 JPY for non-member of JASNAOE
• 0 JPY (free of charge) for student member of JASNAOE
• 2,000 JPY for student non-member of JASNAOE

The workshop is supported by JASNAOE (The Japan Society of Naval Architects and Ocean Engineers).
