生徒の自主性を最大限に尊重する教育方針に基づき，文化祭や体育祭などの学校行事は，生徒たちが自主的に作り上げています。

Throughout its long history and tradition of over 100 years, Hiroshima Universtiy Junior and Senior High School has always pursued genuine excellence.

At the root of our school education lies the idea of all-round education.

With the aim of cultivating solid intellect and rich humanity in students, we strive to bring out the infinite possibilities of each student and to enhance their personal and social qualities, in an open and positive school environment where liberty, autonomy and independence are respected.

In line with the educational policy that respects students’ autonomy to the utmost extent, we provide our students the opportunity to organize various school events by themselves, including school festivals and athletic festivals.

Of course, students stumble and experience failure along the way. However, through the process of overcoming failures and mistakes, students learn and develop leadership skills and a true spirit of cooperation.
